Crafting in Cosrin: A New Dawn has been overhauled from the previous system in Legends of Cosrin.

All armours that can be crafted may not be dropped once complete. The items in the Fighter's Guild have remained unchanged. Many of the items that can be crafted in the Adventurers' Guild are better than their guild equivalents.

How to Craft Armour

-Adventurers' Guild Forging-

Most armour crafting within the game is now done in an area in the Adventurers' Guild. From the Basic Equipment Shop of Zorsican, go Down, Down, SouthEast, South, and NorthWest to arrive at the Chamber of the Fighters. Fighters forge by continuing North and acquiring supplies. Other guilds move West and purchase their materials as they unlock.

REMEMBER: Mixing STRIPS OF METAL with the required SHAPING TOOL keeps you from being able to drop the resulting SHAPED METAL. This also applies to the SHAPING TOOL (which must be purchased by the customer (ensuring they are of the appropriate level)) and to the final product, METAL ARMOUR.

As a Fighter assisting other guild members, ensure your customer mixes the STRIPS OF METAL with the required SHAPING TOOL. Then have your customer to mix the SHAPED METAL with the Leather Armour base.

~Leather Armour~

Leather armour crafting supplies are available to those in the Fighters' Guild immediately after joining, as they may travel through the portal North of the Chamber of the Fighters. Others must ask a Fighters' Guild representative to purchase the leather components for them.

In order to craft leather armour one must have one Leather Patch, one Leather Needle, and one Armour Mould.

Place a Leather Patch in your right hand and a Leather Needle in your left hand and mix, the result is Prepared leather. Place an Armour Mould in your right hand and the Prepared Leather in your left hand and mix, the result will be Leather Armour in the shape of the chosen mould.

In order to make any other armour will require branding of the leather armour, as well as application of strips of the chosen metal.

Adventurers' Guild Brands & Armour Applicators are available in the Fighter's Guild area of the Adventurers' Guild, as well as the Landlevel 10 portal to the west.

Place the your created Leather Armour in your right hand and the Adventurers' Guild Brand in your left hand and mix, the result will be a "branded" piece of armour. This may change the name of the armour, i.e. a Leather Helmet and Adventurers' Guild Brand creates a Leather Cap.

Place the Branded Leather Armour in your right hand and the Armour Applicator in your left hand and mix, the result will be an item of the same name that will accept metal strips prepared as seen below.

Note that there is a difference between Armour Applicators and Adornment Applicators. Armour Applicators change leather into metal armour, whereas Adornment Applicators allow you to add studs, scales, or spikes to your armour.

To craft Hardened Vulcanite, mix the vulcanite strips as described in creating vulcanite armor with the required shaping tool. Then mix this with Smelting Pot. Mix the result of that with the Flask Finish that by mixing with the Grinding Stone.
