These are terms and acronyms that you may encounter while playing Cosrin. The table can be sorted by clicking on the arrows in the column headers.

Glossary of Terms
Term Meaning Definition
BP Build Points Build points are used to learn and improve both skills and spells. Build points are earned when players gain a land level and are non-refundable once spent.
CL City Level City levels represent a player's advancement in terms of their city standing. Experience must be tithed to the city in order to gain city levels. Certain city areas are restricted to player who have attained a requisite city level, so it is recommended that players keep 10% of their experience tithed to the city at all times.
EXP Experience Experience measures the progress of a player's advancement through land levels, guild levels, and city levels. Progress is measured in percentages as exact experience values are never shown.
GL Guild Level Guild levels represent a player's advancement in terms of their guild standing. Experience must be tithed to the guild in order to gain guild levels. Certain guild areas are restricted to players who have attained a requisite guild level, so it is imperative that players maintain equal progress between land levels and guild levels.

A player's guild level cannot surpass their land level.

GL Guild Lieutenant Used interchangeably with guild officer. Guild lieutenants are aids to the Guild Master and retain a subset of their special abilities.
GM Guild Master Guild masters are elected by members of a given guild and act as the leader of said guild. Guild masters direct the roleplay of a guild and participate in administration duties, such as managing guildluck.

As of now, neither the election process nor the term length for guild masters is known.

GO Guild Officer Used interchangeably with guild lieutenant.
IC In Character Used to describe something that exists within the game world of Cosrin; in other words, opposite of out of character. For example, an IC photo would depict the actual character while an OOC photo would depict the player behind said character.
LL Land Level Land levels represent a player's advancement within the realm of Cosrin. Certain areas of the world are restricted to players who have reached a requisite land level.
Mob Mobile Used interchangeably with monster.
OOC Out of Character Used to describe something that exists outside the game world of Cosrin; in other words, opposite of in character. For example, an IC photo would depict the actual character while an OOC photo would depict the player behind said character.
RP Roleplay See Roleplaying.
RP Roleplay Points Roleplay Points are awarded by players to players for exceptional roleplay. These points grant bonuses when leveling up, making them extremely valuable before level 50 and somewhat valuable after level 50. See Roleplaying.
